English FA chief, Mark Bullingham said that Wiegman could replace Gareth Southgate.
Wiegman led England to their first major women’s trophy by winning the European Championships last summer.
She has now taken the Lionesses to the final of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
England will play Spain in the final on Sunday at Stadium Australia.
Bullingham admitted that the Dutchwoman could be an option to succeed Southgate.
“People always say it is the best man for the job or the best Englishman.Why does it have to be a man?” He told ESPN
“I think our answer is always: ‘it’s the best person for the job.’
