On their official club website and Facebook page, Chelsea have confirmed the signing of PSG women fullback Ashley Lawrence on a three year deal,until the summer of 2026. Lawrence has represented PSG feminine for the last six years after the conclusion of Division 1 feminine season in France.
Lawrence will link up with her Canadian compatriots Kadeisha Buchanan and Jessie Flemmings ahead of the Women Super League 2023/24 season,after representing Canada at the Women’s FIFA World cup in Australia.
Due to her versatility and experience,she helped PSG finish runners up to Lyon during the 2016/17 UEFA Women Champions league campaign and emerged eighth in the Ballon d’Or in the final results. The Chelsea fans are thrilled to welcome Ashley to the club as they look to see her in Blue next season.
