Martnez received his early training with Independiente before switching to Arsenal in 2010. He served as an understudy at Arsenal and was loaned out to a number of English clubs before making his debut in the starting lineup in 2019.
He played for Arsenal in the Premier League and contributed to their FA Cup and FA Community Shield victories in 2019. Martnez made a £20 million deal to rival Premier League team Aston Villa in September 2020.Martines Statistics of Goal conceding.
He maintained a club record 15 Premier League clean sheets throughout his first season with the team.
