The victory was a perfect example of the Red Devils’ improved form this season, which has seen them win seven out of the last eight league games.

Their impressive run has been largely fuelled by the emergence of Marcus Rashford, who has become the team’s talismanic figure and is now the club’s top scorer.

United’s performance against Leeds was a perfect illustration of why the club should be rejoicing at their title chances. They were dominant throughout, showing great composure and confidence in possession.

They created numerous chances and were only denied a bigger winning margin by some excellent goalkeeping by Illan Meslier.

The result has set up a thrilling end to the season, and United are now firmly in the driver’s seat when it comes to the title race. They have a very manageable run of fixtures in the coming weeks, and with their current form, they are perfectly placed to capitalise on any slip-ups from Arsenal.

All things considered, Manchester United should certainly be delighted with their performance against Leeds, and their title hopes should be taken seriously. They have the squad and the form to challenge for top honors, and if they continue to play with the same level of confidence, they may well be celebrating come May.
