Other teams, like, Brighton, newly promoted Fulham and Brentford, have outperformed expectations with their league play thus far this season, holding down the sixth, seventh, and eighth spots in the league table, respectively.
However, several Premier League sides have established themselves as the most challenging opponents to play against and the most challenging opponents to defeat in matches.
This article will focus on the two premier league teams that have been the most challenging to beat this year.
1. Arsenal Fc

Newcastle have the best defensive record in the league this season, having only conceded 11 goals, and have kept the most clean sheets. They currently occupy third position on the league standing, and could be set to qualify for the next season’s Champions League if they keep up with their impressive performance till the end of the season.
