By taking that squad number, the winger followed in the footsteps of the likes of Victor Moses, Mo Salah, Kevin De Bruyne and defender Kurt Zouma, these four wore that shirt for the club in recent memories but how successful were they playing with the number 15 squad number.

Victor Moses. He previously used the number 13 squad number but after several loan spells, he finally settled into Chelsea first team under Antonio Conte and took the squad number 15, he enjoyed success playing with that number.

He was influential as Chelsea lifted the Barclay premier league and the following season won the FA cup.

Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian first called Chelsea his home before his current exploit with Manchester city, he wore the squad number 15 during his days at stamford bridge but the success level was low, he struggled under Jose Mourinho and was sold off afterward.

Mo Salah. The iconic Liverpool attacker first stint in English football was with Chelsea but things never really worked out for him and the club, after several loan moves he finally joined Roma permanently.

During his playing days at Chelsea, he used both the squad number 15 and 17 but enjoyed no success with any of them.
