The 26-year-old was linked with a move to many clubs in Europe during the summer transfer window, but he was unable to complete a move away from Real Madrid football club.
The former Espanyol football club star has not been getting enough playing time since the beginning of the season, and he showed his anger by kicking bottles during Real Madrid’s remarkable 4-1 victory over Mallorca football club few weeks ago.
Marco Asensio’s current contract with Real Madrid football club will expire at the end of the season, and he will be free to negotiate with any club he likes in January transfer window.
The Spain national team star was linked with a move to Barcelona football club throughout last summer transfer window and he has finally reacted to the rumours.
In a chat with Partidazocope, Real Madrid football club star Marco Asensio was quoted by Skysports and respected Italian Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano that;
“I don’t know if Barcelona want me. There are rumours on many clubs, it’s normal. Can you say: I’ll never play for Barça?
“I’ve never thought about future at Barça, I have not valued it… so, don’t know! Right now, I can’t answer.”
