According to a rumor in The Sun, Chelsea plans to sign Bellingham next summer. The group led by Graham Potter is putting together a future-focused squad and wants the Englishman to be a part of it.

Despite not having signed new contracts, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante’s contracts are set to expire at the end of the current campaign.

Their predicament is comparable to that of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger, who left the team for free this summer to sign with Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively.

Chelsea won’t have free reign to sign the midfielder, though, as Manchester United and Liverpool are also keeping an eye on him. Real Madrid is rumored to be interested in making a transfer in the upcoming summer.
