The Gunners made 5 signings with a nice balance of strengthening current issues and also signing some quality future options.

Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko have been revelations since joining from Man City, helping upgrade key areas in the squad.

Fabio Vieira is yet to make his debut after a move from FC Porto, but is expected to be heavily involved this season.

Matt Turner is a backup for Aaron Ramsdale and Marquinhos is playing with the reserves.

However, there is a chance that all five summer signings could play together for Arsenal this season.

It probably won’t happen in a Premier League game, as Marquinhos and Turner are still very inexperienced, but Mikel Arteta could give it a go in the Europa League or Carabao Cup.
