Mikel Arteta’s side came out all guns blazing in the early exchanges of the match against Patrick Vieira’s Palace as the Gunners looked more sharper, dominated possession & also threatened to open the scoring on numerous occasions.

Gabriel Martinelli atoned for his big miss with Arsenal’s opening goal on the 20th minute, after a brilliant attacking move from England international, Bukayo Saka who found Oleksandr Zinchenko at the far post with his looping cross, The Ukrainian left-back then nodded the ball across to the Brazilian, who made no mistakes.

Crystal Palace settled really well into the match after Arsenal’s opener with the likes of Zaha & Benteke forcing saves off Aaron Ramsdale in goal.

The Gunners added to their advantage after Eddie Nketiah released a pass to Bukayo Saka who whipped in a dangerous cross, which was turned in by Crystal Palace player, Marc Guehi to make it 2-0 & seal their first win of the season.
