Before Chelsea Football Club ‘reportedly’ completed the signing of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City, the Stamford Bridge club was considered amongst the favorite destinations for Robert Lewandowski (FC Bayern Munich) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United), with so many rumors to that effect, as both strikers have respectively expressed their wishes to leave their present clubs.

Be it as it may, Chelsea FC manager Thomas Tuchel, in an interview, as he reacted to the possibilities of either bringing in Cristiano Ronaldo or Robert Lewandowski, made it clear that his side will not prioritize the signing of another striker even though the club will welcome the signing of ‘new quality players’ to enhance the club’s chances of competing at the top level in the Premier League next season.

Thomas Tuchel said, “I would not rule it out (signing another striker), but right now, it is not the priority. The priority right now is the defense; it’s not a secret.
