One thing on the mind of Chelsea’s fans within England and beyond is, what jersey number will be handed to him by the Chelsea’s management. Although Chelsea may have a certain jersey number for him, but the fans have not been put in the know.
In this article, we shall be taking a look at two jersey numbers that Raheem Sterling could be given at Chelsea. Before joining Chelsea, he wore jersey number 7 for Manchester City and the same number is presently worn by Ngolo Kante. This means that jersey number 7 is unavailable for Raheem Sterling.
Two jersey number that could be offered to Raheem Sterling are;
1. Jersey number 11. This was the iconic jersey number worn by Didier Drogba during his time at Chelsea. Pedro also wore the jersey number before his departure. This will be excellent for Raheem Sterling as a winger.
