Here are some reasons why Manchester City could dominate the EPL 2022/23 season.
1. The team’s consistency: When you take a look at the team’s performance over the last five years, you will notice that the team has been consistent.
This is because since 2017 to 2022, Manchester City has won four EPL titles in the last five EPL seasons. And despite the slight injury setbacks in their squad in each season, the team still maintains its consistency. This is what most top EPL teams have failed to do.

The main reason why I am saying this is that consistency is one of the major characteristics of a dominant football team. And when you talk about consistency, Manchester City is right up there.
2. Squad reinforcement: Despite the team’s enormous squad depth, the club is still strengthening the squad. Last season, the team scored 99 goals in the EPL. This was the highest number of goals scored by an EPL team last season. The club signed Erling Haaland, who is highly regarded as a goal machine.
His signing as well as the signing of numerous quality players is an indication that the overall performance of the team will improve. This is also a clear indication that the team could dominate other rival teams.
