Southampton drew first blood in the 13th minute of the match as Nathan Redmond found the back of the net with a sweet effort to make the scoreline 1-0. Liverpool drew level in the 27th minute of the match thanks to a brilliant goal from Takumi Minamino which made the scoreline 1-1 at halftime.
Liverpool completed the comeback in the 67th minute of the match as Joe Matip drove a brilliant header into the net to make the final scoreline 2-1.
Joe Matip was clearly one the best players for Liverpool in today’s match as he performed brilliantly against Southampton. Scoring a goal in the match and defending brilliantly earned him a Man Of The Match Award in the Premier League.
