Arsenal started the game on the front foot as they created a couple of good chances in the early minutes. However, they couldn’t find a way to break Liverpool’s resilient defence.

Second-half goals from Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino were enough to clinch an important win for the away side.

Jota managed to find the back of the net with a powerful low-drive finish from close range before Roberto Firmino doubled the lead with a brilliant strike.

Jurgen Klopp was forced to bring on the Egyptian in Liverpool’s last game against Arsenal after his side couldn’t break down Arsenal’s resilient defence in the first half.

It still remains unclear if Salah would be fit enough to start for Liverpool in their next Premier League against Manchester United.
