During an event which was shown on Channels Television, Nyesom Wike alleged that there was a ploy by the Rivers State governor to remove disgrace Obio-Akpor people by removing. Hon. Martin Chike Amaewhule as the speaker.
During the event, Nyesom Wike said, “when people plotted the removal of the speaker (Hon. Martin Chike Amaewhule) and you thought we will fold our hands? We will start with you first.
You want to humiliate Obio-Akpor people? You want to humiliate us by removing the speaker after all the fight? You will take it first.
“When people say that I should go and talk to the assembly members, I ask them why? And they say that I was the one that brought them.
