During the ceremony held at the Exco Chamber, Lagos House, Ikeja, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized the significance of their roles, urging them to elevate their responsibilities to meet the yearnings and expectations of Lagos residents.
He expressed confidence in their abilities, asserting that they were carefully chosen to bring value to the executive cabinet.
Governor Sanwo-Olu specifically commended Engr. Daramola for his tenacity and commitment, highlighting him as an example to other public officers.
He mentioned that Daramola’s experience as a former Permanent Secretary would contribute significantly to his role as a Special Adviser in the Office of Infrastructure.
Regarding Mr. Biodun Ogunleye, the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Governor Sanwo-Olu acknowledged his energetic approach to responsibilities.
He emphasized the importance of the ministry in leading the conversation for the unbundling of the energy sector. With Ogunleye’s expertise, industry knowledge, and wealth of experience, the governor expressed confidence in his ability to contribute to achieving energy sufficiency in Lagos.
