2. Harvey Vale
Harvey Vale has signed a new three-year contract with Chelsea and joined Championship side Hull City on loan for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.
The England Under-19 international, who captained the Young Lions to victory at the European Championship for that age group this summer, has committed his long-term future to the Blues until 2025 and will continue his development with a first loan this term.
3. Ethan Ampadu
Chelsea have announced that Ethan Ampadu will spend a second season in Serie A after joining Spezia on loan for 2022/23.
The 21-year-old spent the previous campaign in the Italian top flight, on loan with newly-promoted Venezia, where he made 29 league appearances, predominantly in the centre of midfield.

Chelsea has announced that Academy defender Xavier Mbuyamba has completed a permanent move to FC Volendam in the Netherlands.
The 20-year-old centre-back was at Cobham Academy for two years after joining in the summer of 2020 from Barcelona.
