Changes in cabin pressure and sitting for a longer period may provoke your body to hold on to water.

2. Standing or sitting too long

3. Eating too much sodium

You may get excessive sodium by utilising a lot of table salt or ingesting processed foods and soft drinks.

The swelling of the leg can be caused by deep vein thrombosis, which is a clot in a vein.

7. Pregnancy
