1. Avoid Smoking Tobacco.

Smoking of tobacco has been linked to cancer of the respiratory tract including the lungs, larynx, trachea and nose. Also, avoid second-hand smoke because it is a risk factor for cancer.

2. Maintain a healthy diet

Some foods are known to cause cancer, especially those foods that produce free radicals after consumption.

Eat more fruits and vegetables because these foods contain some amount of antioxidant that helps to mob out free radicals from the body.

3. Avoid Alcohol consumption.

To be free from cancer you have to avoid the consumption of alcohol, although moderate intake of alcohol is still good, excess intake of alcohol can lead to cancer of the breast, colon, lung, kidney and liver.

4. Be physically Active.

Senile lifestyle is a risk factor for many diseases and cancer is not excluded. Individuals should strive to do at least 150 minutes a week of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes a week of vigorous aerobic activity. This can help in a long way by lowering the risk of various types of cancer, including cancer of the breast, prostate, lung, colon and kidney.

5. Protect yourself from the sun.

People who are constantly being heated by the sun tend to come up with skin cancer, although many claimed they are gaining vitamin D from the sun. Here are a few tips;

•Stay away from the sun between 10 am and 4 pm.

•Ensure to use Shade when walking under the sun to protect your eyes from direct sunlight.

6. Go for regular checkups.
