1. You grind your teeth.

Grinding your teeth, known as bruxism, is something you may be doing whether you realize it or not — many of us do it in our sleep, which can lead to serious pain during waking hours.You might also notice your teeth look shorter than usual. According to The Wall Street Journal, Stress sweat is triggered by the same hormones [as sweat from being overheated], mainly adrenaline, that prompt us to react quickly when faced with a threatening situation.

3. You lose more hair than usual.

Stress does lead to hair loss. Although this might be temporary but can often even lead to a permanent hair loss in some individuals. During stressful events, your hair starts becoming thinner and hence, easier to fall. This might even happen weeks after an emotional trauma or right when you are going through it.

4. You have red spots or patches.

Most people experience a degree of stress as part of their daily life. The development of rashes on the skin is a common physical symptom of stress that can occur in us all. In isolation, mild forms of stress have little impact on the body. However, frequent or chronic exposure to stress can trigger adverse side effects.

5. Your eye twitches all the time.

Stress is probably the most common cause of eye twitching. Most of the time an eyelid twitch is minor and goes away on its own, usually within a few days. Minor eye twitching is usually related to stress or fatigue.

6. Your mouth is always dry.

Stress is uncomfortable in more ways than one, and dry mouth is a condition you might experience during this irritating time. Stress and anxiety can affect the flow of your saliva and cause dry mouth, according to the Journal of Dental Research, Dental Clinics, Dental Prospects.
