World Cup winner Mbappe has scored 187 goals in 233 games for PSG and signed a new three-year deal with the French giants in May.

However – he has been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks ever since news broke in the media that he has asked the club to let him leave in the January window – or at the end of the season.

Of Course both PSG and Mbappe has denied that is true – but the rumours are still persistent and it is believed that Chelsea are one of only a few clubs that can afford to pay his massive wages and that massive asking price

Mbappe is said to favour a move to Real Madrid but Leboeuf doubts that move will happen and says Chelsea should look to pounce in January.

‘When I heard Kylian Mbappe saying he doesn’t see his future at PSG, I thought there’s nothing stopping Chelsea from going all out to try and bring him to Stamford Bridge,’ Leboeuf told FairBettingSites.

‘If he wants to leave PSG, Todd Boehly could slap £100m on the table and say “take it or leave it” because nobody else realistically is going to buy him.

‘People say Real Madrid but they’ve got Benzema up top and Vinicious Jr on the left and Rodrygo on the right. They’re on fire so I can’t see him going there right now.’

While reports claim Mbappe feels he made a ‘mistake’ by committing his future to PSG, the player himself has dismissed the rumours.

‘I am very happy,’ Mbappe told reporters earlier in the month. ‘I have never asked to leave in January.

‘I didn’t understand why the story came out on the day of a game. I was as shocked as everyone. People can think I was involved but I wasn’t at all.’

Nkunku waiting –

Chelsea transfer target Christopher Nkunku is “waiting to sign” his contract to join the Blues in the coming months, according to reports.

Graham Potter has reportedly been assured by owner Todd Boehly that he will be given plenty of time to implement his plans for the role.

And that has led to speculation in the media that Chelsea have been keen to secure the services of Nkunku after failing to sign the attacker during the summer transfer window – despite numerous offers

Chelsea have reportedly agreed to bring the player to the Premier League after it was claimed that he has agreed to sign a pre-contract agreement with the Blues

Recent reports in the media have claimed that Nkunku has now agreed to join Chelsea – and the Blues have agreed to pay RB Leipzig the £52 million that they have been desiring

If the reports are true and Chelsea have agreed to sign the player – then he will be a brilliant signing for the club – but also a risk

The Bundesliga is not the Premier League and we have seen the likes of Jadon Sancho and Christian Pulisic move to the English game and flop – so that is the risk

Pulisic told to move –

Jamie Carragher has encouraged Christian Pulisic to draw inspiration from Timo Werner’s up-turn in form since leaving Chelsea and seek an exit of his own.

Pulisic was regarded as one of the finest talents in world football before he made the move to Chelsea – but despite some decent performances – he has looked nothing like the player he was over at Borussia Dortmund.

And now amid all the speculation suggesting that he is ready to leave the club – Carragher has encouraged the winger to follow Timo Werner and seek a move away from Stamford Bridge in order to reignite his career.

The former Blues striker scored his eighth goal of the season for RB Leipzig, steering the German side to a 3-2 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Speaking on CBS Sports, the former Liverpool defender said: “A lot of footballers are different, I do scratch my head when I see certain players at clubs for a long time and they never really get into the team.

“And that’s why I think Thierry [Henry] is saying he respects Timo Werner. Rather than just sitting on the bench another year or two he’s gone back to somewhere where he’s going to play week in, week out.

“And I just think Pulisic is sort of at that stage now where there’s been a few managerial changes,” Carragher added.

“It looks like he’s getting more of a chance with Potter, but not just him, I think Graham Potter is a manager who changes it every game so everyone is getting a chance.

“But eventually you have to make that decision. I don’t think you can continue to be in that position that he’s been in for the last two or three years.”
