1. Sinzu

Sinzu started his music career as Saucekid, representing Nigeria in the rap game. In 2016, he was arrested at Boise Airport in the US for theft. He was accused of taking $15.388 from an unsuspecting person. He was later found guilty and sentenced to 2 years in prison. After he was released in 2018, he became signed into Davido’s DMW records.

2. Dammy Krane

When Dammy Krane was signed into Hypertek Music, he became more popular. In 2017, he was arrested by the American Police after Tapjet, an American Jet firm accused him of trying to charter a private jet using different credit cards. 5 different credit cards not belonging to him were found on him. He was charged for fraud and later released after fulfilling his bail terms.

3. Bella Shmurda

Bella had his encounter with the police in Ghana. In September 2021, he was arrested in Ghana for assaulting a medical staff after being told his Covid-19 status. He was later fined 2000 Ghana Cedis and deported back to Nigeria.

4. Omah

Omah Lay, the young hitmaker was arrested in Uganda on the ground of “Violation of Covid-19 protocols”. He was detained in Uganda for 2 days. Many celebrities in Nigeria went into his case before he was later released.

5. Tems

Temilade Opaniyi popularly known as Tems was arrested in Uganda alongside Omah Lay for performing in a crowded place during Covid-19. She was detained alongside Omah Lay, Muyiwa Awoniyi, and the show promoter. They were later released by the Ugandan Police.
