According to WebMD, a healthy heart can be determined majorly by your lifestyle and what you eat. Aside from exercising regularly, there are other important things we need to do. Here are vital things we should do daily to make our hearts healthy:

1. Maintain clean teeth by doing dental floss every day. Diseases of the gums and some structures of the teeth have been associated with heart diseases.

Mouth bacteria and diseases of the gum can enter the blood flowing through our circulatory systems and cause inflammation in the cardiovascular system.

3. Avoid exposing your nose to environmental smoke. You cannot control the smoke from generators, carbon monoxide from vehicles, or combustion in the environment, but you can control what you choose to breathe in.

4. Don’t deprive your body of quality bed rest. When you sleep well, it will keep your heart healthy. Depriving your body of quality sleep can put you at risk of having heart disease.
