What Are The Causes Of Belly Button Pain?

1. Urinary Tract Infections – otherwise referred to as UTIs can be a cause of belly button pain in women and men. If you have contracted a UTI, it can lead to pain in your belly button and even abdomen for sometime till you get treated.

2. Hernia – belly button pain during pregnancy can be a sign of hernia in women who are pregnant. If you start feeling constant pain in the navel while pregnant, then you should consider going for hernia checkup to know what is the cause of the pain you are feeling in the belly button.

3. Gallstones – gallstones can be a cause of the pain you are feeling in the belly button. The pain often starts in the abdomen and extends to the belly button and as such, you should try as much as possible to get checked up and a surgery to remove the gallbladder might mark an end to the pain.
