In midfield, Rodri is a mainstay with Bernardo Silva and the majestic Kevin De Bruyne, with Jack Grealish earning his starting XI spot in recent weeks.

That leaves Haaland down the middle with Messi on the right, a combination enough to strike fear into the hearts of opposing defenders thanks to their devastating finishing and creative ability respectively.

Julian Alvarez would be pushing for a starting berth, aided by his relationship with Messi, but Messi’s potential arrival could see Riyad Mahrez pushing for a move.
