To further add to their misery, Manchester United have not beaten Everton in the league since 2020 when they won 3-1. However, in this new dispensation, the Red Devils are favorites to emerge as the winners.

Coupled with their heavy defeat against Manchester City, and their win against Omonia, the red devils will be boiled to get things straight on Sunday.

However, due to the recent injuries and brilliant performances from some players, there are bound to be some key changes for Manchester United on Sunday.

How Strong Man United Might Look Against Everton With Casemiro And Martial Starting

Recall that Manchester United were thrashed by Pep Guardiola’s side 6-3 last weekend but a certain Anthony Martial came on and led a half-comeback, scoring twice. Also, the Frenchman came on against Omonia to put the red devils 2-1 ahead as Manchester United eventually won 3-2.

Well, here is how Manchester United might look against Everton.

• Goalkeeper: DAVID DE GEA

Although Martin Dubravka is available for the clash it seems Ten Hag has full faith in David De Gea and he is the favorite to start against Everton.

• Defense: VICTOR LINDELOF, LISANDRO MARTINEZ, DIOGO DALOT, AND LUKE SHAW

In the absence of Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof patterned Lisandro Martinez at the back. However, with Raphael Varane likely to be available against Everton, he could partner Martinez at the back.

Meanwhile, Luke Shaw looked lively when he came off the bench against Man City and Omonia. And with Malacia looking rusty, this could be the perfect window for the Englishman to reclaim his place.

• Midfield: CASEMIRO, CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN, AND BRUNO FERNANDES

Casemiro played well when he came off the bench against Manchester City and when he started against Omonia. So, it’s likely that he’ll come in for McTominay while Eriksen and Fernandes are likely to retain their spots.

• Attack: MARCUS RASHFORD, ANTONY, AND ANTHONY MARTIAL

In the attack, it will be interesting to see what Ten Hag does with Martial and Rashford’s incredible form. But it’s likely that the pair will come in for Ronaldo and Sancho while Antony could partner them.
