The blues have been struggling to win their matches despite their huge summer signings which entail poor form for Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea.

The blues bounced back to their winning form today after coming from behind to beat the Hammers in an emphatic Premier League match. Despite their win today, there are some players whose performance has been poor this season but they are still maintaining the club’s starting lineup.

The manager should be dropped these players from the lineup to perform better in subsequent matches.

1. Conor Gallagher:

Gallagher’s performance this season hasn’t been impressive as he is still struggling to control the blues midfield. Gallagher who returned from a loan should be benched as his introduction in the starting lineup has done more harm than good to the club.

Chelsea’s match against West Ham United is a clear example, the player losses possession to his opponent due to a lack of confidence with the ball. Thomas Tuchel should start his summer signing ahead of him in upcoming games.

2. Marc Cucurella:

Marc Cucurella is another player that should be dropped from starting line-up after his awful performance against Southampton and West Ham United on week five and six respectively.

Ben Chilwell has proven to be worthy of the starting lineup after a goal and assist in match week six fixture.

3. Kalidou Koulibaly:

Koulibaly who has been struggling to adapt to the team should also be dropped from the starting lineup. The Senegalese player’s passes are inaccurate, handing most of his passes to the opponent. Chalobah is a good replacement for him as he has more premier league experience than Koulibaly.
