Sometimes people will pretend to love someone with the sole intention of getting that person’s money or in order to use them for sexual satisfaction. Which ever way people have become very dishonest therefore causing a lot of problems for each other.
A certain Zimbabwean girl named Chantel Zvenyika aged 23 has gone viral after she allegedly took her boyfriend Tinashe Masona to court for ignoring her. According to her the two had been dating for a while and one day they decided to take their relationship to the next level.
The two spend the night together and had sexual intercourse. The next day after the event Chantel did not hear anything from her boyfriend and upon sending him a message she realised she had been blocked. She was left confused and heartbroken and she told her parents who therefore decided to take the matter to court.
The issue has sparked a lot of debate with people asking which crime the boy would be charged with since he did not rape her.
“Seduction charges is an actual crime, based on the circumstances” commented Wellington a certain Twitter user.
“She has a right to know why she was ghosted. At least she’s not pleading rape” replied another Twitter user.
People were empathetic towards the girl and admitted that she needed closure for her to be able to move on with her life. A lot of issues are affecting youths and issues like these can even lead to depression therefore she was right to seek assistance.
This should also be a lesson to all the youths out there. When you are going through something sometimes telling your parents is a good thing because they will always be the to help you. Parents should also be able to accept their kids even if they have some wrong and help them out through it.
