Where and when will the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League draw hold?

The group stage draw for this year’s UEFA Champions League will be staged on Thursday, August 25, in Istanbul, Turkey.

Time:

The group stage draw is expected to commence at exactly 5 PM Nigerian time on Thursday in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Draw procedure:

The 2022-23 UEFA Champions League draw will feature 32 teams across the European top division leagues. All the 32 teams will be divided into four seeding pots.

Pot 1 will comprise the holders, the UEFA Europa League champions, and the winners of the six highest-ranked countries who did not qualify via one of the 2021/22 titles; Pots 2 to 4 will be determined by the club coefficient rankings.
