Thomas Tuchel might find it difficult to win his first two games of the season. The West London side will be up against two quality sides in the opening stage of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

Chelsea’s Premier League campaign will start on the 6th August, 2022, at Goodison Park. It is definitely going to be a very difficult game for Thomas Tuchel to win especially when you consider his last result at the same venue.

Chelsea were thrashed by Lampard’s men at Goodison Park last season, thanks to a sublime strike from Brazilian attacker, Richarlison, in the opening minutes of the second half.

Chelsea will welcome London rivals, Tottenham, at Stamford Bridge for their second game of the season. Though, Tuchel has never lost to Tottenham since he signed for Chelsea in 2020 – clinching four wins against Spurs across different competitions last season.

However, things are definitely bound to be different for Thomas Tuchel this season. Antonio Conte has signed a couple of quality players and more signings are expected before the start of the new season.
