Defence
Potential signee Kounde could take a spot in the heart of the defence alongside Thiago Silva.
Meanwhile on the other side the left-footed Josko Gvardiol is an option, having impressed at RB Leipzig.
Midfield
The club is reportedly heavily interested in getting the signature of Tchouameni from Monaco. If the Frenchman comes, he could form a central midfield partnership with Kovacic while Chilwell and Reece James continue to act as full-backs.
Raheem Sterling is said to be an option for Chelsea. He could pair with Havertz and Mason Mount upfront if he eventually comes.
