Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract which was expected to run until 2023 was terminated following his exposure of Manchester United to the general public.
Cristiano Ronaldo has assured fans that his contract termination wouldn’t affect his performance in the world cup.
After his departure from Manchester United, it was unclear if Ronaldo still had a good relationship with his fellow Manchester United players.
Bruno Fernandes who is Ronaldo’s teammate both at Manchester United and Portugal assured fans that they were both on good terms.
A video emerged showing the reaction of Fernandes to Ronaldo’s handshake after he joined the Portugal team before the start of the World cup. In this video, both players didn’t look happy after the handshake.
However, Ronaldo’s actions in the game against Uruguay proves that they have an healthy relationship. The two things Ronaldo did which proves they both have a healthy relationship are:
1. He Celebrated Portugal’s First Goal With Fernandes: Ronaldo who thought he had scored the first goal ran towards Fernandes and Celebrated with him.
2. He was also excited about Fernandes second goal despite being on the bench.
