Below are the 2 reasons why Manchester City will not win the Premier League title on final day.

1. Liverpool’s form

Jurgen Klopp made nine changes from the side that won the FA Cup against Chelsea last Sunday, but his Reds where still able to seal all 3 points against Southampton despite being without Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk.

If Liverpool’s remarkable winning form continues and they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers as expected, the pressure will be on Manchester City to deliver.

Even without Mohammed Salah, Liverpool are still strong favourites to win the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers and at the same time clinch the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City, because of the pressure that will be on City when they face in-form Aston Villa.

2. Steven Gerrad’s loyalty

We all know of Steven Gerrad’s “slip” that caused Liverpool the Premier League title back in 2014, and we also know that Steven Gerrad is forever loyal to Liverpool despite being the head coach of Aston Villa currently.

The Englishman has already indicated that his boys will take the game against Manchester City very serious as he hope to play a major role in helping Liverpool clinch the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City on final day.

If Steven Gerrad’s Aston Villa beat Man City at the Etihad on Sunday then Liverpool will surely win the Premier League title.
