Prayer, on the other hand, is the most powerful means of interacting with God. Believers are encouraged to pray in simple ways, such as asking God for forgiveness, giving thanks, asking for protection, and seeking wisdom through difficult times.
The Bible divides the prayers that Christians should say at different times of the day, such as in the morning, at bedtime, and at meals, among other things. Surprisingly, the main goal of this article is to reveal two Psalms that every believer should recite before going to bed.
Psalms 27
Who can I fear, Lord, for you are my light and my salvation? I will not be afraid since my life is safe with the Lord! People have the ability to harm me. They are free to try to kill me. My opponents will attack and attempt to murder me, but they will fail.
Even if an army surrounds me, I will not be scared. Even if I am assailed in battle, I shall rely in Jehovah. I only have one request for God. What I most desire is to spend time in the Lord’s kingdom and to live forever in the Lord’s house, surrounded by His glory. In the face of danger, he will defend me. I’ll be hidden in his tent. He’ll show me the way to safety.
Psalms 91
This psalm is about being protected. Every believer should make an effort to say this at least once a day. There are various types of protection that we must petition the Almighty to supply, such as protection from disease and accidents, among others. The Psalms are summarized here.
In the Highest Good, you can hide. You could take refuge in the Almighty God. “My God, you are my refuge and fortress,” I cried to the Lord.
God will keep you safe from invisible dangers. You can ask for his help. He’ll encircle you as a bird does its brood. You can rely on him to keep you safe.
There’s no need to be afraid of enemy arrows at night or hostile arrows during the day. You will no longer be afraid of nighttime illnesses or excruciating pain during the day.
