So take a look at 2 Catastrophic happenings that have been making headlines in Nigeria in the last 24 hours.
• Kaduna Train Attack:
Terrorist attacks have no doubt been rampant in Nigeria over the last couple of months. However, the recent attack on a train along the Abuja-Kaduna rail line has been making headlines in the last few hours.
Despite being an expensive means of transportation along the aforementioned route, many passengers have opted to travel by train since it’s safer than traveling by road. However, after suspected bandits attacked the train recently, many lives were lost and others were left severely injured.
• Chaos After Nigeria Lost To Ghana:
Another catastrophic incident that has been trending in Nigeria has been the unprecedented chaos that ensued following Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the world cup. Following their goalless draw away to Ghana, Nigeria again drew at home to the black stars but they ultimately lost due to the away goal rule.
However, after the game, an unprecedented incident occurred as numerous Nigerians stormed into the pitch to chase away the players.
