Some symptoms, like chest pain, ankle swelling, and shortness of breath may be signals that something is wrong. Knowing the warning signs can assist you to get treatment and help get rid of a heart attack or stroke.
According to “Mayo Clinic”, some of the signs that indicate your heart is not working properly are as follows.
1. Shortness of breath when carrying out an activity or when lying down.
2. Fatigue and weakness.
3. Swollen legs, ankles and feet.
4. Rapid or irregular heartbeat.
5. Lessened ability to exercise.
6. Unceasing cough or wheezing with white or pink blood-tinged mucus.
7. Swollen belly.
8. Very rapid weight gain from fluid accumulation.
9. Nausea and loss of appetite.
10. Trouble concentrating or lowered alertness.
11. Chest pain if heart failure occurs due to a heart attack.
When you start to notice these symptoms in your body, ensure you meet your doctors immediately.
