The socialite, who recently returned to Uganda, admitted that her recent outburst on social media was wrong and expressed her wish to reconcile with Shakib.
Zari Hassan’s return to Uganda coincides with her attendance at Jose Chameleone’s #LegendInGold concert, but her primary goal is to mend her relationship with Shakib.
The couple’s relationship became strained after Zari hosted her ex-partner, Diamond Platnumz, at her South African mansion to celebrate their daughter Tiffah’s birthday. Shakib reportedly criticized Zari for this, leading to a social media confrontation where she accused him of not contributing financially to their marriage.
In an interview, Zari acknowledged her mistake, attributing it to frustrations she had been harbouring.“I am a stubborn, independent woman, but I did a mistake because I had my frustrations. I didn’t wake up one day and started venting out of the blue; there were reasons prior, but I vented on a wrong platform,”she admitted.
Zari also spoke about the challenges of being in the public eye, noting that people like her often struggle to find confidants who won’t betray their trust.
