1. Wider space between the breasts.

As a woman grows older, the estrogen levels in the skin begin to drop, this causes the breast to become slightly dehydrated and less elastic which results in reduced firmness and fullness. A young woman’s breast is quite different from that of an aged woman, hence the changes.

2. Stretch marks.

The appearance of stretch marks on the skin is not really age-related, as many young girls have it. However, the hormonal changes that come with aging can also contribute to this. Older women may develop stretch marks on their breasts as a result of this.

3. Lumpiness.

Aging is characterized by low estrogen levels and changes in skin elasticity, these two factors may contribute to breast lumpiness. Furthermore, the risk of developing fibroid, cysts, and cancer of the breast is higher in older women. These three health conditions can alter the appearance of the breast, hence making it to appear lumpy.

4. A flattened appearance.

The female breast usually loses its firmness as a result of breastfeeding. However, various factors tend to contribute to this and aging is one of those, a woman’s breast tends to become saggy and soft as she grows older even though most young women have fallen breasts.
