President Willian Ruto now reveals that he deliberately assigned the National Treasury to the opposition so as to absolve himself of the blame for mismanaging the economy.

The president proposed ODM’s outgoing national chairman, John Mbadi, to be the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury.

Addressing a gathering in Baringo on Friday, August 2, Ruto suggested that he wanted a shared responsibility in the direction the country takes, seemingly seeking to shake himself off the incessant blame for a supposedly failed economy.
