Speaking during an engagement with the media at State House, Nairobi, Ruto said the current crisis will help Kenyans talk candidly about the nation’s affairs.

“This crisis is a very important reflection point for the country,” he stated.

He cited the country’s huge debt as one of the issues Kenyans should reflect on.

“In 2013, the country’s debt stock was Sh1.8 trillion. In 10 years, it increased five times,” he added.
