Wout Weghorst went viral when he scored two decisive goals in the quarter-final of the world cup against Argentina to send the game to a penalty shootout where Argentina eventually won.

As a result, his performance stimulated the Interest of Ten Hag and Manchester United which was why the EPL club signed him on loan from Burnley.
