Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has warned a section of leaders against using their Parliamentary sessions to attack Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua....𝐑̲𝐄̲𝐀̲𝐃̲ 𝐅̲𝐔̲𝐋̲𝐋̲ 𝐀̲𝐑̲𝐓̲𝚰̲𝐂̲𝐋̲𝐄̲ 𝐅̲𝐑̲𝐎̲𝐌̲ 𝐓̲𝐇̲𝐄̲ 𝐒̲𝐎̲𝐔̲𝐑̲𝐂̲𝐄̲

Cherargei said the floor of the house should not be an avenue where politicians attack each other.

“Parliament can not be used to attack and demean the Deputy President. We won’t accept that,” he said.

“If they want to attack and demean Senior state officials let them come we do it from here where Kenyans can witness instead of Parliament.”

He spoke on Friday during the launch of new classrooms in Manyatta Primary School in Kasarani Constituency.

Cherargei urged parliamentarians to desist from such behaviour.

“I have seen others talking yet there are no passable roads in their regions. Were you given a job to build roads or throw names at the Deputy President? ” he posed.

The Senator said people should stay out of the issues surrounding the relationship between President William Ruto and his Deputy.

He said Kenyans should instead focus on praying for the government to deliver on its mandate.

He opined that those throwing names at others, particularly the Deputy President, should be relieved of their duties.

“I want to tell some of the leadership of the National Assembly that they are no longer fit to be leaders of the House. Let us do the necessary by releasing him so that they can go politic out here,” he said.
