It is verified that Scott joins Marcus Rashford as the only current homegrown Reds on the list, which features some of our country’s most illustrious figures. Scott is only the 32nd Academy graduate to make a double-century of appearances for United.

Scott McTominay confirmed to be the only academy graduate to have played 200 years in man United.

Erstwhile Gold medal winners George Best and Sir Bobby Charlton, the six most notable members of the infamous “Class of 92,” and 2018 World Cup winner Paul Pogba are all included.

The list includes players from every decade since the 1940s, which is a testament to our reliable youth-to-first-team pipeline.

Scott McTominay has scored quite a number of goals in man United.

Given that he began his affiliation with the club at the age of five, McTominay is maybe the poster child for those now completing the Academy.

He was a tiny no. 10 at first, but grew physically while playing for the Under-18s, and in 2016–17, he was a regular in the central midfield position for the Under-21s before Jose Mourinho brought him up to the senior squad.

In May 2017, Scott earned his first-team Arsenal debut. The following season, he established himself as a regular under the Portuguese manager, remaining in that crucial position under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.

Scott is a confrontational influence in the middle of the field and typically plays in a strong role, but as his United career has proceeded, he has added goals to his game, scoring 18 goals in 201 games to date. Self-belief and the ongoing pursuit of improvement have been major themes in McTominay’s career thus far.
