Logically, Iyorchia Ayu must be referring to the Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni in the above excerpt. However, the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), may need to respond to the allegation that the accused governor is leaving the state undeveloped or it is just a mere political propaganda.

Remarkably, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently dragged issue with the Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello on am alleged diversion of about N19 billion. Although, the case has not been fully established, but the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), may need to categorically clarify issues on the allegation that Governor Yahaya Bello has diverted the public fund up to the tune of N19 billion, even as the state was quoted to have been owing civil servants backlog of unpaid salary arrears.
