Donald Trump appears elated that Vice President Kamala Harris picked progressive Tim Walz as her running mate rather than those he sees as more formidable candidates. The former president slammed every network except for Fox News for trying to turn Harris into a media darling and went after her for refusing to take an interview or hold a press conference in the 17 days since entering the race.....CLICK HERE TO READ THE FULL ARTICLE>>>

Speaking with the three co-hosts on Fox & Friends Tuesday morning, Trump said he plans to face Harris in at least one debate and hopes his favorite network is able to run the show. He also said the vice president is afraid to face him in a debate. Harris announced on Tuesday that Minnesota Gov. Walz joined her campaign after narrowing down her decision to a handful of middle-aged, white, male politicians.

‘I would say my reaction is I can’t believe it,’ Trump said in his first interview since the announcement. ‘I never thought this was going to be the one that was picked.’ ‘He’s a very, very liberal man and he’s a shocking man. And I could not be more thrilled,’ the former president said.

‘He’s a smarter version of her, if you want to know the truth,’ Trump added. ‘He is more so [progressive] than Bernie Sanders… This is a ticket that would want this country to go communist immediately, if not sooner.’ Some other potential VP picks included more moderate contenders like Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and others.

Trump thinks Shapiro was not selected because he is Jewish. ‘This is a shocking pick and I think it’s very insulting to Jewish people.’ ‘This is a really bad decision for the country,’ Trump said. ‘You know, ultimately I want the country to have good decisions.’

President Joe Biden ended his reelection campaign on July 21 after weeks of pressure to exit the race amid a very glaring, public cognitive decline. Harris immediately took over Biden’s campaign infrastructure and has since been on a campaign blitz across the 2024 swing states.

Trump thinks that liberal media outlets are trying to turn Harris into the ‘liberal version’ of iconic British conservative Margaret Thatcher, who was Prime Minister through the 1980s. ‘She is incompetent,’ Trump insisted of Harris. ‘They say ‘well, look, the press is going to do whatever we want.’ The media, outside of you people, of course, but the media is so – they are drying to build her up to the next Margaret Thatcher, liberal version.’

‘And I don’t believe it’s going to happen.’ The vice president has not held a press conference or sat down for an interview since stepping into the limelight 17 days ago. Some are wondering how she will perform once she is no longer scripted or operating off prepared remarks or a teleprompter. ‘I hear she hasn’t taken one interview,’ Trump said in his Fox call-in on Wednesday. ‘She would never do an interview like this, that I can guarantee – with any network.’

‘She doesn’t do interviews because she can’t answer questions,’ he added. ‘I don’t know how she debates, I hear she’s sort of a nasty person, but not a good debater,’ the former president said. ‘But we’ll see because we’ll be debating her, I guess, in the pretty near future. It’s going to be announced fairly soon. But we’ll be debating her. I’d like to see it on Fox, by the way.’ Trump insisted: ‘I’d love to see it on Fox but it takes two to tango. She doesn’t want to debate. She wants to say I don’t want to debate but I do want to debate...CONTINUE READING>>
