According to The Athletic, Reiss Nelson is set to agree a new contract with Arsenal. The expected new four-year deal comes to recognise the 23-year-old as an important member of the squad as Arsenal return to the Champions League next season.

Nelson’s contract was set to expire this summer, but extending his stay will take some weight off the club’s shoulders. He will follow Aaron Ramsdale and Bukayo Saka in committing his future to Arsenal this month, as well as Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes earlier in the season.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Cadena Ser, Real Madrid have been offered the chance to sign Harry Kane, with the club considering the option.

Daniel Levy wants to offload the player this season at a price instead of losing him for free next summer, and wants to sell him to a non-Premier League club.

The operation could also prove to be beneficial to both parties with the inclusion of out-of-favour Real Madrid man Eden Hazard, who would return to familiar territory in the Premier League.
