Transfer Headlines: United Rejects Barcelona’s Bid For Maguire, Liverpool Attacker Leaves For Monaco

According to reports, Monaco has signed Minamino from Liverpool in a deal worth around £15 million – that’s two time more than what the Merseyside club paid to Salzburg for his signature two years ago.

After a rocky tenure at Anfield, Minamino has departed Liverpool. He made 53 appearances over his two and a half seasons with Liverpool, contributing three assists and 14 goals.

He only participated in 11 Premier League games last year, and ten of those appearances came from the bench.

However, the sensational forward is up for a new challenge as he agreed a deal with French giants, Monaco.

United Rejects Barcelona’s Bid For Harry Maguire

In an agreement to lure Frenkie de Jong to Old Trafford, Manchester United turned down Barcelona’s offer to sign Harry Maguire.

The English defender was wanted by the Spanish team to play this summer at Nou Camp.

However, the new manager Erik Ten Hag seems eager to work with the £80 million defender, and United are unwilling to split ways with him.

De Jong will instead head to Old Trafford in a straight cash deal, with Barca refusing to accept anything less than £69 million.

The two clubs were far apart until recently, but negotiations advanced over the weekend, raising the possibility of a compromise.

Ten Hag and Frenkie de Jong collaborated at Ajax, and the 25-year-old midfielder is seen as the top target to usher in the new era at Old Trafford.
