Roger Schmidt, the manager of Benfica, has refuted rumours that Enzo Fernandez would leave the Portuguese powerhouses this month.
At the beginning of the transfer window, Fernandez was extensively linked to Chelsea, but the money caused the move to fall through. Even though Schmidt is certain the midfielder will stay, the Blues have come back for him recently.
You can tell Enzo is in good shape and pleased when you watch him play. He is not considering anything else. I don’t anticipate any of the starters getting hurt. The player appears focused, so hopefully, this continues.
Everton Is Interested In Arnautovic
As they prepare for the fight to stay in the Premier League, Everton is considering making a January purchase of Marko Arnautovic, a former striker for West Ham United and Stoke City.
The 33-year-old Arnautovic, who is now playing for Bologna in Serie A, was a target for Manchester United during the summer when the team was looking to bolster their striker depth.
