Arsenal will battle with Newcastle United to sign Atalanta wonderkid Rasmus Højlund and are preparing a €50 million bid, according to a report from Tutto Atalanta.

The 20-year-old has seven goals to his name in his debut season in Serie A and has been on the radar of both Italian and English clubs.

PSG keen on ex-Barca star

According to a report from Foot Mercato (h/t Paris Fans), PSG are still interested in signing Brazilian winger Malcom from Zenit St. Petersburg this summer.

João Cancelo open to staying at Bayern Munich

João Cancelo is open to staying at Bayern Munich by signing for them permanently, according to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg (h/t @iMiaSanMia). Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann as well the higher-ups at the club believe that the Portuguese full-back is much better than what he has shown since joining from Manchester City on loan in January. However, the final decision on Cancelo’s future will not be made immediately.

Barca could part ways with Alba in summer

As part of their ongoing battle to reduce their wage bill to within La Liga guidelines, Barcelona could mutually terminate Jordi Alba’s contract in the summer, according to Spanish outlet SPORT.

Despite not holding a starting position in Xavi’s current side, Alba boasts a salary of aroun €38 million per season, including deferred wages, making him among Europe’s highest earners.
